ok, if there is a "OK" for these NJ Carbines, how can I order one from out of state? I fly up to NJ a lot for shoots and I would love to have one. I already have a "NJ" AR and SKS. I NEED a NJ Carbine. I hope this works out. |
cb1 - kahr will probably just ship it to your FFL. or the next 10,000 round shoot we do,
when you come up you can just get one from a FFL. I BELIEVE PK90 is a FFL? am i correct?? if this works out we have to get all the pa and nj ar15.commers for a nj .30 carbine 10,000 wolfie shoot. |
Just got a response from Kahr Arms. My request is being reviewed. |
I am DEFINITELY in for one, maybe two of these. Do we have an FFL on here to recieve these?
Do I smell a group buy? |
That's great news. I thought they would have just dismissed it without even a 2nd thought. If this goes through, you can count me in for one as well. Maybe I'll even get a nice USGI stock to put on it.
If this goes through, I, also, would be in for at least one NJ M1 Carbine. (Just like my Grand-Pop carried!)

If you are able to get the M1 Carbine, you will not regret it. I have one, matter of fact it's an Auto-Ordnance and I love that rifle, you will see my same response in other topics. I love how it shoots, I love how it feels in my hands. I love how accurate they are. I sent mine back last week for a Birch to walnut stock and handguard upgrade ($46.00). I will love it even more. I believe every one that belongs to this forum should own at least one of them. Haha.... |
pocketg thanks for the info and support.
i also believe everyone here should have one belt fed. i love m1 carbines. shot many. cant wait to bring one to our favorite watering hole with cb1 in NJ LIKE THE OLD DAYS....... |
I just hope we don't get too excited over nothing....... Auto Ordnance still could decide that's its not the worth the time and effort. But I think the fact they are "reviewing" it is a very good sign.
i dont see why not. man, you can have ma duece semi,1919 , BAR'S mg34 semi's
i can go on all night. |
I think Auto Ordnance should be made aware just how many people there are in Jersey, or even just this board alone that WANT a M1 Carbine after not being able to legally own one for 15 years.
yes i saw that they dont have lugs. i think that is an easy fix though.
nice rifles. |
Your absolutely correct, that would be the easy part. Are you planning on buying one soon? |
Get 'em to mark them "M2". I'd be all over that. Plus, any extras could be sold to non-NJians without too much fuss.
Tagged, just to be a thorn in the side of the NJ Lawmakers
Get this done before Corzine get in office. At least you will have a week to play with it before he bans every semi-auto. |
What about a reciever marking of:
U.S. Carbine Model 1942 or something similar. What year was the carbine adopted? I for one would like the wood handguard and bayonet lug. The lug should be fine as there is no flash suppressor or pistol grip. The carbine is tailor made for Jersey, with all the 15 round mags available. If we make this economically rewarding for Kahr, I don't see why it wouldn't fly. The only problem is getting an FFL with the stones to order it. Anyone? |
I too will support PK90 by purchasing one from him if this happens...
a little more fuel for the thoughts... If Bushmaster can make a limited run of 300 Ar15.com SEBR rifles, why can't Kahr do the same? I think it will be well received and profitable for both Kahr and PK90. I hope this happens. I would love to tear it up with BSOG1 at the range with our "NJ" Carbines. |
CB1 IM IN.
even if it doesnt work out. some BELT FEDS AND TANNERITES should be sufficient. dont forget the 10,000 wolfies. no wolfies in the M40 THOUGH |
What range in NJ let's you shoot at Tannerite???? |
sir ,i have no knowledge of a range in nj that you can shoot tannerite. and if in fact one DID exist,
im not at liberty to discuss such a range.sir. |
Exactly what I thought! |
They don't advise it, you understand, but it can be done. (Provided you have the right stuff, you miserable pudknocker.) Back on topic.... any word yet from Kahr? I sent them a email also 3 days ago and have not received a reply. I sent it to the sales rep ([email protected] <[email protected]>). anybody else have any luck? |
I know it can be done genius, I asked what range allows it??? JESUS!
lugerman
were only kiddin around. but even if it did happen,we cannot deny nor confirm such sightings even if they did exist. maybe we can take some of ya's out for a SUPER ar15.com tannerite and shoot someday. there are a few rules though. 1000 round minumum per weapon. rapid fire only must be capable of aquiring targets thru barrel smoke obscured view must be able to shoot vegetables, wood ammo crates, household items, and teds wear cammies and able to see mission thru in all types of weather |
o, and i forgot.
bump firing is a must must be able to camp in all types of weather must be able to rapidly deploy did i forgt anything 1CB? -----we need m1 carbines------ |
That wouldn't even put a dent in my ammo supply! Like I said, amateur's!! |
I'd be in for a NJ legal variant of the M1 carbine design as well. Prefer as close to milspec as possible, of course.
this would at least help them to sell out their stock of 10 round magazines... |
bump to see if there is any more information from Kahr... I still have not received a reply from them
For the 3rd day in a row, any updates about getting New Jersey legal M1 Carbines?
Nobody's hiding the updates from you. If and/or when there are any I'm sure it'll be posted.
