I'll concede on the pork but if you mother truckers make this shoot on a Saturday, I will personally lift one of the calverton por-o-potty's and dump it all over your cars.

How's that? Soaked in salt water for a week, dragged across the sand, then painted a pastel color?  Did I ever tell you guys about my time spent in Florida?  Seriously though, I love roast pork....best of all, I can steal the leavings and add ham and cheese for Sandwich Cubanos later in the week.....Yum! Now EdSr, we can't wait for you to be free in the Spring....Mag says we can do another one for you then, but we gotta have one NOW! <drooling> |

Well I did a 40lb piggy August 22. It fed about 30 people that eat like pigs "no pun intended". So I'm lookin to probably do a 50 to 60 lb pig for us. The thing is I gotta get it like 3 days ahead of time to marinate that MOFO properly. Lets see how many mouths we'll have to feed.

A guy who works at my precicnt was telling me about Calverton... that they have an area where you can bring random shit to shoot (stuff other than targets)....
Me and my friends have been looking for something like that and we are gonna plan a trip out there on our days off one week. BTW what is the address of the calverton range? |

Hey JD. Calverton USED to be the place where you could bring anything plus the kitchen sink (literally) and shoot it. I'm pretty sure they just want paper targets and the plastic can lids they have up on the hill that you care allowed to shoot. I don't think they mind baloons and such tied onto the target stands (provided) as long as you clean up your mess. The days are long passed where you could drive your old Ford down range and 'have a blast.' (also literally) |

It's right off of exit 71 on the LIE which is approx. 1.75 hrs from NYC if that gives you some idea. A long ways for you probably but it would be great to see you join us if you're up for a road trip.
