i saw a motorcade on the belt parkway coming home from training this weekend.  It was around 615 or so at night and was between coney island yard and knapp street.  Many cop cars up front followed by several black crown vics and a few black suburbans.  The surburbans had guys in it who looked similar to the secret service agents that came when the president visited my college back in the fall of '01 semester.  any ideas of what was going on?

... Well for one, His Holiness The Dalai Lama was at Central Park at noon today, the place was packed! And I believe GWB was at the UN today as well but he usally only travels between there and his helipad near Pier 17.
