The Dallas Protest Police Watch channel was saying "there's a lot of protests this weekend" but I can't really find anything other than the anti-lockdown thing in Highland Park at 10AM Saturday.
Lots of talk about the eviction moratorium ruling from the Supreme Court. |

HPD has more resources than the entire Dallas PD and much less territory to cover.
Love them. They pay on time and well. You can tell a lot about who is in power by who they pay. |

Ahh the Scott case had it all, except timing.
Black dude dies in jail, grand jury (meaning the DA - a grand jury would indict itself if directed to) no bills, in Da South (though Texas has a different history and culture than the SE states). But the timing didn't line up. The rioting infrastructure of hired goons, free bail money, media hype, local political leading the way, turds like Mittens Romney on his knees, just wasn't available. With Slow Joe in the White House and soiling his diapers, the ruling class doesn't want any more high profile police cases to focus on - would make the country look not well lead. |

Camp Rhonda is full of people who want to abuse substances and all kinds of illegal things that shelters do not allow. How this place ever got a footprint for this long is beyond me.
Driven past there a few times and have always seen people huffing spray paint in plastic bags, drinking alcohol etc. |

Not having single-family-only zoning does nothing to hurt single-family homes on traditional lots, except making them less economically competitive. You can always build new ones (less impactful things are allowed in higher zoning districts), they will just be more expensive since you are giving up the potential to build 2-4 homes in the same space. This has nothing to do with evicting deadbeats within the law, or clearing squatters from property. Fuck thieves. |

You guys need to ask the Dallas city council who is stopping them from removing the homeless; because the city has wanted to do it for a LONG time but, IMO, is scared shitless of that fight - which means someone with a big bankroll is standing by to litigate & loot if the city moves.

Office of Homeless Solutions in Dallas is worthless when it comes to removing campsites or larger camps. It requires a lot of tactical thinking and a well drafted complaint to get a response from City Hall.
One of the wealthiest people I know, a very well off philanthropist cannot gain traction ridding homeless that pollute parks and creeks near Love Field. Really awful mess they create. |

The city is coming apart. The cracks in the dam are getting bigger and more numerous every day and the city is running out of politically correct thumbs to shove in the holes.
I was at another neighborhood meeting last night. Our city councilman decided not to show despite having NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, Telemundo and the Morning News there covering some of things we are working on. He made some statements to one of our neighborhood reps last week that have convinced me that he’s just not inept, he’s absolutely taking money to foster criminal elements in our community. |
