That's it. It's over. There's no coming back. We have millions of people in this country in denial about that. I'm sure Rome and Egypt was the same way. We need to recognize the truth so we can move on, before the end of the USA is actually the end of all of our lives. Texas can be a superpower in just a couple of decades. It's possible and now is the time to start. Good, hard working conservative former-Americans (and people that are cool with dual citizenship) will FLOCK to our cause. Liberals will bail off what they see as a sinking ship (they're always wrong, let them believe it). Texas will be the greatest nation in the world. It wouldn't be long before the two parties in Texas were: 'Texas Conservatives' and 'Even More Conservative Texans'.

This. Millions of conservatives would flock and a lot of the socialists would bail quickly. I think secession has a real chance. It won't be a landslide but it can happen.

I like the idea, if Texas annexed half the US, but I think succession is an idea being pushed by the deepstate, to be honest. Its a mistake, think about how Lincoln used the war powers act against Texas and others because we were claiming independence and he considered us a foreign nation in that aspect, but then used other laws against us because we wasn't. That would give them any excuse to use the full power of the military domestic or a "foreign" aid to wipe out anything that stood in their way.

So we should keep taking our beatings so we don't get a worse beating?  

How low should we bow?

Maybe a constitutional amnesty state or something where Texas refuses to abide by any unconstitutional law and refuse extradition of its citizens on anything unconstitutional. Build up its national guard enlisted by draft into "civil services" for stateside deployments. Just some thoughts.

Texas secession stands a pretty good chance of happening, especially if the communists that overthrew the legitimate government of the US continue their destructive path. However, don't think for a minute that if Texas does declare its independence, that multiple states will come with. They know the US as a country with Beijing Joe and the Ho in charge becomes a vassal state of ChinaIsAsshoe. They also know the debt bomb timer is ticking down and it's only a matter of time (probably not much) before that goes off. If Texas and most of the middle of the country secedes, the remaining states won't be able to sustain the "full faith and credit" of the dollar and they implode. Problem is, in the early stages if Texit, we're going to be using the dollar, too, until we get some other form of currency figured out. Note that it is coming either way. Texit will just accelerate the process.

One thing is for sure. We cannot abide an illegitimate government. Either we have a Constitution and the rule of law or we don't. Right now, we don't.

It's such a shame that something like HB-1359 even has to be considered, but here we are.  Washington DC is on a collision course with disaster, and there doesn't appear to be a realistic, logical way to pull out of the nosedive.  

I have a hard time putting hope and faith in the theory put forth by many conservatives speaking currently in this nation that in two years the citizens will see the error of their ways in supporting this corrupt, inept democrat party and this insane administration.  I'm not sure this nation, as great as it is, can survive the damage of two years inflicted by these morons.

I've also given up, somewhat, in the hope that many of these idiot citizens in our nation have the ability to see where this is headed...even when it runs over them.

Even Texas won't survive the continued indoctrination and influx of these idiots, so now is probably the only time that something...anything...like this HB-1359 might actually be a logical and possible effort.  

To do nothing will be suicide.  And while I will still try to "work within the system" of our state's political structure and representatives, I don't think we can put all our eggs in one basket.

Don't get me wrong, I hope that there is a red wave in 2022 that is so huge that all the cheating in the world can't 'fix' it. That said, even if it were to happen, what would the results be? Well, we know exactly what would happen. A cuck RINO would become Speaker and they would spend the next 2 years acting like they lost the election. The GOP does it EVERY SINGLE TIME. There's no exceptions, ever. When they get power on Cap Hill, they spent the entirety of their 'rule' looking for ways to fritter it away, fragment their voting bloc, pass liberal crap/spending, and generally forget about semblance of conservative values that the voters expected, based on the pols words in the election. I'm 45. Not once in all those years have the Rs acted like winners and pushed hard for the conservative agenda after they were given the reins of power. They make excuses and slow the slide to communist tyranny about 10% relative to the pace a D majority would. It's insanity to expect that 2022 will be any different.

This is pretty much where all of the fraud is, and always has been; in absentee/mail-in ballots. All of this dominion/smartmatic conspiracy business is nothing more than a disinformation campaign, which sad to say, is working. So many people on the right are so obsessed with the machines that they are not calling their state legislatures to fix where the real fraud is.
