Would y’all be interested in Keybase instead? I have an account and a member of multiple Teams that design, improve designs, and post pics of builds.
If so, I could set up a Team for Texas and different channels under it for different topics/areas based off your recommendations. Perks include: 1) Encryption. Although it’s impossible to be fully secure. It’s a least a little more secure. 2) You can create a Team for everyone here. Then channels that fall under it from hangouts, bullshitting, SHTF announcement, etc. 3) Can set messages to explode after a set amount of time. |

Doesn’t work that way with this type of law Unless their is a total collapse of our republic. At that point it won’t matter as it will be mad max time. You also have to remember there are several other countries where lawsuits can be started for this type of stuff not just in the US depending on where business is being done. Even Germany is saying big tech is going to far. |

They may not give you much protection from the NSA or “Magic Lantern”, but at least the corporate censors won't be able to f*ck with you. |

there is no free tier with Wire unfortunately
Both proton and tutanota are great encrypted email services that have free tiers I've had good success with keybase as an group communication and organization tool but it was recently purchased by zoom which I think is owned in part by the prc it is encrypted, has good functionality, and would be effective |
