I'm in the College Station area and I'd be interested.

I am hosting a camping trip this month February 16th thru 19th near Smithville, Texas.

I will have a 175m steel range with reactive targets. We can run drills and shoot at night with night vision. See my post on page 1 of this discussion for the rules.

IM, or email me for location and questions.

Don't know if I will be able to make this one as I may be moving that weekend.

The parking lot in front of the main HQ/ visitor's center isn't huge.  I think if we meet there that'll be sufficient

Bump as a reminder, 10:00 am this Sunday.  Hope to see everyone there!  I'll be the fat guy huffing and puffing in the back.

Hope y’all have a good turn out.

I’m tied up training for a half marathon and can’t tear up my feet by adding rucking on my off day, but I’ll be looking to join in this summer.

Any idea on the which trail?

I would be interested but I’m feeling under the weather and don’t want to get others sick. Would be interested in future dates.

According to the nice lady at the desk, Pine Ridge, Pine Canyon, and Whitetail trails are about 3 miles total and have good elevation change.

I'm onsite, grey Silverado

Will do.  It was great to meet everybody!

We can start looking at March dates, though I know my schedule is weird and I might not be able to make anything work.

Just curious, how was y'alls turnout?

We had a total of seven guys turn out for a hike up here in North Texas.

I'm new to the Hometown threads, so I missed the Feb. hike.

This trail is awesome, and near my house in Lakeway: Lakeway Canyonlands to Rough Hollow Trail

Let me know if you guys are interested in doing this one in March and I'll host.

A think a few of the guys that did the Feb hike would like a flatter trail this go-round, in order to get the pace up for official Battle Buddy recognition.

That said, this trail looks like a good challenge!

As far as scheduling, my March is stupid busy, so the only days I could potentially do anything are first thing in the morning on Saturday the 21st, or anytime Sunday the 22nd.

I'm still out for next weekend but I'm down any other time. We can also do Bastrop again.

I'm hoping to find something flatter and faster than what we did, preferably in N. Austin/ Georgetown area.  March 22nd sound good?

March 22nd sounds good to me.  Just throwing it out there since it was mentioned at the first hike, but Pflugerville lake is a 3 mile flat trail.  https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/texas/lake-pflugerville-trail
