Y'all stay safe this weekend, particularly if you're driving a ways for a show.  5 6 dead in FW this morning on I-35.

Given the weather & that I've got two family members recovering from major dental work @ home, I declined a table.

Don't know if I'm gonna come out tomorrow, saw a tiny bit of snow today and the six deaths yesterday on a road that I regularly drive kinda threw me.

If y'all were planning on meeting @ the BBQ, by all means meet up, but I don't think I'm gonna drive an hour both ways - catch y'all in a couple of weeks.

I'm going to let the BBQ pass as well - was going to see if anything was left at the show, but there isn't stuff I gotta have right now that is gun show related.

Reble Yell reports sales are typical of a pre-COVID crowd, so doubtful there's a line and I would expect prices to be slightly down.

slow show, no lines, be deals to be had tomorrow

get in early, probably seen vendors bailing around noon /one pm due to incoming weather..

Once the sun came out and people realized that the roads weren't bad.
Looking forward to tomorrow.

Just got an email from the G&S promoter, the gunshow in Nacanowhere will be moved to March 6th and 7th.  Do not think the roads will be clear here for several more days, and there is quite a lot of infrastructure damage in the area as well.

Bonham today: lots of A5 shotguns and lever actions. Several $1000 1911’s and one Anderson lower AR for the same price.  Tons of ammo but no one was buying.  A box of mini shotgun slugs was marked $35.  Lots of handmade knives though. Centerfire revolvers seemed to start at $650 and go up from there. I noticed lots of new in-box guns being brought in for sale but nothing going out as sold.

The tables of Trump gear for $5 were sad and lonely.

The parking is in line w/ the average pricing of firearms on display.  Lots & lots of antiques.  It's a collector's show, not a consumer one.

Fort Worth show Saturday wasn’t bad.  Fairly busy with a deal or two here and there.   We were selling 5.56/Winchester for $0.75/CPR and went through most of it.  Ammo sales seemed to have slowed a bit so maybe prices will come down.  IE last show we had $40/box $35/2 box 9mm and sold a fuck ton. Today I covered up a decent amount.  I was able to pick up some cool items walking by to bring home which was my original intention of getting a table.

Hopefully tomorrow they turn the heat down a bit.   Also looking at the schedule this company isn’t having another show in Fort Worth until May.

It's all I could do to not say something to some of the dealers. I need just another box of hornady 6.5 cm precision hunter. Saw some that I wouldn't pay the little mark up they had then somebody had it for $100 box of 20.

Holy sheet.

Did buy some more 9mm since I'm getting two more pistols added to the family.  Put 2 on layaway at a local store for my boys. Used CZ P07 and new 3rd gen G19. Prices on those at the show were nothing to get excited about either.

Yeah, center fire rifle ammo has gotten crazy.  My buddy has S&B 6.5 on his side of the table for something like $35/box I think.   The Hornady stuff has gone off the charts on pricing.

Well, getting the gear ready to head to Nac-a-nowhere.  Unfortunately i broke the shield i put in front of the buffer when i am sharpening.  Think i have some more plexiglass here, will have to come home tonight and see if i can make another one before in the morning.  If any of you guys make it to Nacogdoches gun show, i'll have the big Baldor buffer hopefully making dull things sharp.

Ammo still moving at stupid prices.  Did several trades, acquired a spas 12 and a Turkish version of the M4 shotgun.  Think I'll take some of my 00 home instead of selling it now since I have more chambers to feed now.....

Was thinking of going today but ended up having to do something else. I figured ammo prices were going to be high, though. Was there at least a decent selection of guns? Or is it still slim pickings?

jeffb1911 and I, and perhaps Motown_Steve are hitting the Canton show tomorrow afternoon.  Anyone else heading that way?  W/ the UBC bill having passed the House, if you wanted to sell something, now is the time.
