Y'all stay safe this weekend, particularly if you're driving a ways for a show.

Given the weather & that I've got two family members recovering from major dental work @ home, I declined a table.
Don't know if I'm gonna come out tomorrow, saw a tiny bit of snow today and the six deaths yesterday on a road that I regularly drive kinda threw me. If y'all were planning on meeting @ the BBQ, by all means meet up, but I don't think I'm gonna drive an hour both ways - catch y'all in a couple of weeks. |
|
Well, isn't this a fine kettle of fish.
|
I'm going to let the BBQ pass as well - was going to see if anything was left at the show, but there isn't stuff I gotta have right now that is gun show related.

Reble Yell reports sales are typical of a pre-COVID crowd, so doubtful there's a line and I would expect prices to be slightly down.

Just got an email from the G&S promoter, the gunshow in Nacanowhere will be moved to March 6th and 7th. Do not think the roads will be clear here for several more days, and there is quite a lot of infrastructure damage in the area as well.

Bonham today: lots of A5 shotguns and lever actions. Several $1000 1911’s and one Anderson lower AR for the same price. Tons of ammo but no one was buying. A box of mini shotgun slugs was marked $35. Lots of handmade knives though. Centerfire revolvers seemed to start at $650 and go up from there. I noticed lots of new in-box guns being brought in for sale but nothing going out as sold.
The tables of Trump gear for $5 were sad and lonely. |

Fort Worth show Saturday wasn’t bad. Fairly busy with a deal or two here and there. We were selling 5.56/Winchester for $0.75/CPR and went through most of it. Ammo sales seemed to have slowed a bit so maybe prices will come down. IE last show we had $40/box $35/2 box 9mm and sold a fuck ton. Today I covered up a decent amount. I was able to pick up some cool items walking by to bring home which was my original intention of getting a table.
Hopefully tomorrow they turn the heat down a bit. Also looking at the schedule this company isn’t having another show in Fort Worth until May. |

I need just another box of hornady 6.5 cm precision hunter. Saw some that I wouldn't pay the little mark up they had then somebody had it for $100 box of 20. Holy sheet. Did buy some more 9mm since I'm getting two more pistols added to the family. Put 2 on layaway at a local store for my boys. Used CZ P07 and new 3rd gen G19. Prices on those at the show were nothing to get excited about either. |

Yeah, center fire rifle ammo has gotten crazy. My buddy has S&B 6.5 on his side of the table for something like $35/box I think. The Hornady stuff has gone off the charts on pricing.

Well, getting the gear ready to head to Nac-a-nowhere. Unfortunately i broke the shield i put in front of the buffer when i am sharpening.
