Hey Ya'll,

I'll be down at South Padre first week of October and we need to hire a fishing guide who can
take 5 of us out in the Laguna Madre and put us on some Reds and Specs.

It's my father in law's 80th birthday celebration.

Any recommendations?

My company goes on trips down there with 16-20 guys. We use Doug Dunkin http://dunkinguide.com/. We've always caught fish and had a good time.

No affiliation other than he and some of his partners / buddies guided for us over a few days. Worth every penny in terms of area knowledge, service and sense of humor.

We have used Mike Knox at Blast to Cast over by Amberjack's several times. I assume he's still there. Good dude.

We had a great time fishing with Capt. Gencho and will go out with him again !!

5 hour trip, two nice Red Drum and lots of tasty Mangrove Snapper
