Starting to get used to this being single again thing.  Learning it means I can do WTF ever I want.
Been getting to spend more money on my AR, but damned if I've gotten out and shot it any lately.  FMJ ranges with 50 yard lanes are few and far between, and shooting alone is, while fun, shooting alone.  I figure as active as this area is on Arfcom that surely someone has land and there are some get togethers/shoots going on occasionally.

If so, would love to meet some of you guys and put some rounds down range.  My even spring for some beer.

Hmmm.....

Just had a shoot at Tom Bean.

There is a dinner tonight:  ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=8&t=223914

We try and do monthly dinners.  We meet at just about every gun show for lunches.

We have a LR shoot coming up:  ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=8&t=220871

Hun Farm coming up:  ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=8&t=223228

All posted right here!

If you wanna meet up for some informal range time.... the best thing to do is post which range, and what day/time you are going, and meet up with others.  Sometimes you draw people outa the woodwork.

I usually try to get out to a range once a week. Shotguns at Alpine, indoors at the Shooter's Club or Wincherster, and TDSA.

I shoot mostly at lunch, nights and weekends are tied up with family.  The THR group gets together about 1-2 times a month. Either at TDSA or Winchester.

Anybody ever want to meet at Backwoods for some trap or skeet (don't worry, I suck) let me know.

I can't remember cost exactly. It's not much. Backwoods isn't exactly a snooty shooting club. I've got a Kireghoff that I use for trap and an SKB for Skeet. The SKB works fine for trap if you used the tighter choke though.

Just let me know when and I can meet you there.

Skeet, Trap, 5 stand, Sporting Clays....  That sport is WAYYYYY too confusing.  When I grew up, it was all just called "skeet shooting".

I'll be at Alpine in south FW for shotguns around 10am on Tuesday morning since I'm working the late shift.  I'll be at the practice fields with my 1100cm.
