i know i was just thinking of the ship itself, with an explosion that huge youd figure the shockwave would be powerfull, but i guess its a carrier and could probably take alot

I'm thinking PhotoShop. Near misses in water can crush a hull. Those big flat boats are way too expensive to be popping off stuff that close to them. Even a fender bender with a carrier would costs millions to fix.

Either that, or they are conducting sea trials, noticed the E2C in front of the tower, probably doing "touch and gos" with newbie pilots. ;-) |

I'd put money on photoshopping...
The shadow from the carrier and the shadow from the explosion don't match up right. Things that could be fixed to be matched up with photoshop if they knew what they were doing... but apparently didn't. |
