I need to know what type of ammo is allowed in the carbine competition.  Is FMJ ok? Or do I need to load up on SP/HP stuff???

 JFP.  Visit Gunstock National Gathering and pose the question there.  I think it would be easier.

I shot in the Aug. 3-Gun at the same range and used .223 FMJ and nobody questioned it.

The only ammo you can't shoot is steel core or tracer.  I'm not sure buy I would bet they want to use some of our steel for the comp.
