T.I.G.E.R. Valley level I pistol class
Tiger valley is offering a level I pistol class that was previewed at the open house. The date for this class is November 22nd, and 23rd. This class will be an intensive two days of pistol shooting. Shooters will start on 3 inch dots, looking for group size and trigger control. From the dot drill, shooters will move to steel where they will remain for the next two days. Our class runs from simple to complex. Shooter will start from the Low Ready and progress as skills increase to more complex drills. After mastering low ready on the timer, shooters will move to a ready gun position and eventually the draw from the holster. Shooters will be challenged with many drills including, target to target, rhythm drill, moving and shooting, moving targets, 180 drills, reload drills ( locked and open slide ) shooting one handed and transfer drills. Again all shooting is done with a competition timer. Every shot taken will be evaluated and timed. Speed and accuracy are stressed as is finding the shooters crash point. We want to push you until you miss and then pull you back to a pace you are assured hit every time. Shooters can expect to shoot 700 rounds each day. Shooters who pre-register will receive free lunch both day of class. Equipment you should expect to use are: pistol with holster and magazine pouch and three magazines, eye and ear protection, hat with brim and 1400-1500 rounds pistol ammunition. Free camping is available on site. We have great showers and bathroom facilities available to those who wish to camp. RV Hook up available at extra cost. The Level one Handgun course is $250.00 per shooter. Contact T.J. Pilling if you have any questions about the course.
