T.I.G.E.R. Valley is offering a 16 hour Carbine Course. The date for this class is November 1st, and 2nd. As shooters come to the line they will be evaluated on grip, stance and trigger control. Equipment assessments will also occur at this time. The goal of this course is to enable the student to combine techniques, and factors in close distance / CQB carbine shooting, to far distances of up to 500 yards (3 - 500 yards) and then apply them practically in real world situations. You will learn principles, guidelines, and illustrative examples regarding various carbine rifle situations. Whether you are an experienced or new shooter, this Carbine Rifle course is designed to enable you to perfect your ability in placing well aimed shots. During the live fire drills, the shooter will find what equipment works and actually stays in place. All will start from contact distance, dealing with optical off set problem. From contact distance shooters will move to what would be considered CQB distances. From there shooters will engage one, two and three targets. Other drills include: failure drills, single and multiple shots, weapons retention, shooting in close quarters, 180 drills, and transition to handgun. Day two starts with review of day one. Once shooters are warmed up they will move to moving targets, moving and shooting and shooting at steel from 100-500 yards. Shooters should expect to shoot 450-500 rounds of rifle ammunition and 50-100 round of pistol ammunition. Camping is available free of charge to those attending classes. RV hook up are available at a small charge. Those who sign up in advance will receive free lunch both days. The cost is $250.00 per shooter.
