I got a ticket and have to go to traffic school to keep it off my insurance. Has anyone had any particular experience and can make a recommendation in that regard? Thanks.

Forgot to add that you can take the sessions at your own pace...ie. 1-2 sessions per night for a week.

don't take traffic school... get deferred adjudication. Either way you pay the fine, so you might as well skip taking the class...

Deferred adjudication does not keep it off your insurance. FYI...

Jeff, if it didn't, I wouldn't have a license or insurance right now.

Insurance co. shows me as having a clean driving record.

Bank account disagrees!

Last year, I got 2 speeding tickets in 5 min. in 2 diff towns. (Lewisville and Grapevine)

Both were deferred, at the same time.

I've already gone to the courthouse in the huge speed trap of Plano, and have agreed and paid them to go to traffic school, so I'll hold off on deferred adjudication until next time.
