I can tell you a SC hospital has a whole floor of people with pneumonia, trouble breathing and flu like symptoms that aren't included in the posted numbers.  Quit testing anyone and you'll never have to report any new cases.

Had to rework my dashboard. DHEC changed their data source for the third time...

Anyhow, latest changes prevent me from continuing my heatmap and they no longer are including a column for recovered. Data consistency is the true plague of this virus... I suppose I'll adapt the dash as best I can as they continue to throw curveballs.

I work at a large manufacturing facility in Richland county. People are being told to work from home. Production stopped for 2 weeks except for critical orders, like hospital or food transport. Hourly staff will be paid thru a mix of company pay and unemployment. Tough spot for a lot of people.

I don't think anything has actually been done though, as in no actual challenges to it.  We've had it good in SC but we really need to get organized as more liberal politicians come into play.

I agree. A statement to cities isn't really the slap that's needed.

I am still not a fan of AG Wilson because of how he held Jason Dickey in prison for 30 days after the SC Supreme Court overturned Jason's conviction.

Charlestons heat and humidity got this

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-cases-flu-like-drop-linked-with-high-heat-humidity-2020-3%3famp

Eta: as of right now an er nurse at musc says there is three people in the er. She said the virus shit is way over played. Which goes with what a travel nurse at trident told me this week. They canceled her three shifts because they dont need here. She was pissed but found out her contract pays even if shifts are canceled. So take from that what you want.

In yet another strange approach to things they've elected to go with a list of what they deemed non-essential instead:

Entertainment venues and facilities:Night clubs
Bowling alleys
Arcades
Concert venues
Theaters, auditoriums, and performing arts centers
Tourist attractions (including museums, aquariums, and planetariums)
Racetracks
Indoor children's play areas (excluding daycare facilities)
Adult entertainment venues
Bingo halls
Venues operated by social clubs

Recreational and athletic facilities and activities:
Fitness and exercise centers and commercial gyms
Spas and public or commercial swimming pools
Group exercise facilities, to include yoga, barre, and spin studios or facilities
Spectator sports
Sports that involve interaction with another person in close proximity and within less than six (6) feet of another person
Activities that require the use of shared sporting apparatus and equipment
Activities on commercial or public playground equipment

Close-contact service providers:
Barbershops
Hair salons
Waxing salons
Threading salons
Nail salons and spas
Body-art facilities and tattoo services
Tanning salons
Massage-therapy establishments and massage services

The boat ramp thing was caused by idiots.  People were having big gatherings at landings, sandbars, islands etc, tying a bunch of boats together and partying.

Just expanded non-essential business closure list. Shoes, clothing, & accessory stores, sporting goods stores, florists, books, crafts, furniture, jewelry, and department stores.
Also new short term rentals, hotels, motels, air B&B, etc.
Closures do not include firearm retailers, home improvement, and hardware stores.

He also threatened a mandated stay at home order if people continue to not follow guidelines.
