I was at Academy the other night and there was quite a bit of the Barnaul and the Winchester 5.56. I had went to Wal-Mart in Bryant last Friday and bought some WWB. The guy at the sporting goods dept told me that he buys the Win. 5.56 at Academy by the case and they give him a discount. So I went up there, but they told me they don't give discounts for bulk purchases. Anyway.... I've got quite a bit of the Barnaul, but the last time I was shooting, I shot 35 rounds of it, and out of those 35, I had 3 that wouldn't fire.

.223 and 5.56 are both getting harder and harder to find. I try to buy 500-1000 at least once a quarter to put back.

www.ammoman.com has plenty at good prices. Shipping is free, so you're almost always better off to buy from him.

Thanks alot, he does have good prices and I'll be in touch with him. I was hoping to find some close by as I just need 200 or 300 rds. in the next few days for a test.

Ammo is always an option for a local group buy....

x39
x54r
.223
.45acp
etc it would all be good

If you have C&R or any other ffl, century, Aim, Sog etc all send specials on ammo regularly.

I'd be interested in a 45 acp,10mm or 5.56 or 7.62 group buy.  Ever 30-06 military.

I have a C&R, but I have bought a ton of ammo in the last month.  Midway and Georgia Arms give a FFL discount also.

That would be nice. Any of ya'll have a FFL?
