A group of us are trying to plan a trip out to the Hills in late February/early March and we'd like to rent snowmobiles for a day and hit the trails.

Anyone have any recommendations?

A few years ago a group of us went out and rented from Trailshead Lodge. No real complaints but I thought the machines were a little under-powered.

Just wondering if there's anything better.

No idea on where to rent, but there is a pretty extensive trail system behind Prarie Berry winery in Hill City that we use for 4wheeling, im pretty sure its open in the winter for sleds, goes on and on and has some great riding and scenery. We would ride from another entrance to the system by a friends cabin and luck would have it the trail goes right to the winery & brewery parking lot
