My son is going there for about a month for work, he is basic young hipster type and I want to tell him where to go and most importantly what areas to stay away from

He is 24 and a vegetarian and likes pizza and mac and cheese (especially wood fired type)

he doesn't really drink, and wants to explore history/museums etc if there are any

So what is the good and bad?

Thanks ya'll

Very chill, laid back and quiet college town.

Pretty slow during the summer.

Mormon vibe, less so on campus.

If you aren't willing to hang out with Mormon at Mormon activities or aren't a student it could be challenging to be there.

There's a hipster-ish sandwich place called Even Stevens he might enjoy.

What time of year will he be visiting?

Not a ton going on that time of year.

Great time of year for hiking, fly fishing, motorcycle rides, rock climbing.

There is the historical farm here. That's about it for museums. The tabernacle does tours. USU has some interesting stuff. Cache Valley is a quiet place, so not much excitement here.

He can head north and visit the Bear River Massacre site.

The Browning museum and the Air force museum are about 60 miles away in Ogden.
