All,

I'm heading down this weekend and kinda want to take the little ones shooting. (.22's mostly, possibly an AR)  Any spots that I should avoid?

I just saw this and I know it's late.... but..

I usually drive down River Road until I come to the Arizona border and go shooting in Arizona.  There are plenty of established spots on the right side of the road that are safe to shoot.  There is a place off Bloomington Circle that heads up into the hills that everyone goes shooting at.  I've never been there but it is a popular and well known spot.  The tactical range at the Purgatory Shooting Sports Park is free and has some good people running the place.
