They are usually $20, they run 1 or 2 a day, I think they are 2-3 hours.

I took the class a couple of years ago. I think the first one starts at 9:00 sharp, and runs till approx 12:00. I think the second one starts at 2:00, but I'm not certain about that. I missed the first class the first time I tried to go because I didn't get there until 9:30.

IIRC, $20-$30 sounds right for the class; however if you want to get the passport photo, fingerprints, and everything you need to send the paperwork in, you need to spend about $40-$60.

The class is pretty convenient, but no one should think this 'class' is going to completly prepare you to carry. IMO, you need to spend some time getting use to handling, loading/unloading, drawing and holstering your pistol before you should carry it. You should also regularly practice. JMO.

If you chose to deliver the application to BCI yourself, BCI can picture and print you for $10 (for each one total of $20), if you want to save a little money walgreens does passport photos for $7.95, and summit county sheriff does prints for free (Might be out of the way for most people). It was just easier for me and quicker to do all that at BCI, then turn in my application myself.

I will certify anyone (Utah CCW class for FREE!) who joins Utah Defensive Pistol League and shoots his first match. Just contact me in advance to make arrangements for the class after your first match. We can do this the same day if you like.

I have offered to do this many times but no one has ever taken advantage...

Otherwise, I can do private classes upon request for a small fee.
