Thank you very much everyone that offered to lend me a firearm for PR. I am trying to find the issue with my AR and want to get it running before the match.
Might sound funny but I think the carrier is messed up somehow.  Thats the only thing I have narrowed it down to.

NoAim, thanks for the clarification, I was concerned because he did say “steel cased” which is what I understand Wolf to be. I didn’t think Wolf has any steel in bullet itself as I checked it with a magnet, but some people just have it out for Wolf and I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be blacklisted for using it.

If you're shooting an AR or some other .223 with Wolf, no problems. It's the AK stuff that is usually the problem. |

Its really not that bad, my first time out I came out wanting to watch and not shoot. They talked me out of it. Grab your rifle, come out, and shoot it, its not about winning, its about having fun.

Hell I could run that course of fire faster then him!!!!!! If you take out the running, gun changes, one round at a time reloads and the whole thumb thing with the hammer.....ssomthing I might have trouble with

Thats plenty. Bring 250 round of ammo and your good to go. If you dont have a pistol you can use my Kimber or I can bring an extra Colt commander. CH |

4 is enough. The rare stage needs 3 mags. Most require just one or two. The third is nice to keep handy in case of a failure. I usually bring six, but I'm lazy and don't like to reload my mags all the time.

Me too. I bring 8 fully loaded, 2 for each stage. I dont load mags at the match. That cuts into my haggle time!

i keep one empty mag in case there is a stage w/ a specific round count... easier to put 12 in a mag than empty one.

Naw, I just want to play cowboy/lawman/drifter/cavalryman/JohnWayne/ClintEastwood/ElmerKeith for extra fun. My first handgun was a single action, my first centerfire rifle a lever action, and I grew up watching old westerns so this should be fun. Now if WS ever gets his blackpowder pirate pistol maybe we can have a pirate vs cowboy shootout in the pistol pits. |

Good idea on the empty.....maybe should stash a 20rdr somewhere for that. Snow up there still huh? I can't believe it, but snowed most of the morning down here and is trying to get with it now too. Should be an interesting drive tmrw evening
