So I head into B&N to look for a book on military knives and on the way back I see some books of interest for our local wannabe message board pirate.... So I take out my trusty cell phone to get a couple of pics... So all the sudden the Store Manager comes up to me with one of her little clerks and informs me that store policy forbids picture taking of books... wtf? Then she tells me I will be kicked out if I persist... I asked her why they are so protective of books they have out in public for sale.... At that point she tells me I have to leave.... I mean all she had to do was tell me to stop taking pictures but she went straight to the 86 route,.... Needless to say that is the last time I shop at any Barnes & Noble.....
BTW Here are your books..... But just don't buy them at B&N.....  and for HotPink  |

My wife did retail for a few years. What would happen is people from the competition would come in and price all their stuff. Then they sell the most popular items for 5% less than her store. Pictures make it too easy to get the prices.
They probably thought z3bigdaddy was from Boarders, spying on them. Which is why they tossed him out on his can. Why WS4LIF was in a book store (he can't read) is beyond me. Maybe he needed a non-fat, decaf, latte... BSW |
