I may be headed up to Athens on Saturday and trying to pick the best route. When I went to the University, I always went up from Jax through Waycross/McRae/Lumber City/etc I believe on 23 to 341 to 441. I'd appreciate any intel on the northbound traffic along this route. Thank you.

I'd guess that'll be better than the interstate, but have no direct knowledge. GA State parks aren't charging for camping for evacuees. Usually bathroom facilities are pretty good.
