A good friend purchased 6000 rounds of 62 grain Lake City 5.56 ammo today for $660.00

I'm so jealous, but I think he'll hook me up with a couple thousand rounds.

I'll see him tomorrow and see what I can work out.

I think he also made a deal on 15000 rounds of .308.

Some guys have luck, myself not included.

15k rounds? Is he going to shoot a mini-gun??

Now there's an idea.

Actually he looks at ammo as investment of sorts, not to mention he has several select-fire weapons.

If he wants to sell any of either caliber, I call first dibs.

I secured a 1000 rounds of 5.56 today, but it doesn't look like he's going to let any more of the 5.56 go.

I'll keep you guys updated on the .308.

Where is the .308 coming from?

I'm not at liberty to say since he hasn't closed the deal.
