Yeah, I coulda done without it. Doing fine, had a little scare Friday that turned out to be nothing. I am paranoid of every little twinge right now.

Went to the doctor today, back to work tomorrow. He told me as long as I ate right and gave up smoking, I should never have another problem with my heart. Those stents are marvelous. He told me that having the stents makes it like a new system.

I have set Saturday as my date to quit smoking. I will have been taking the Wellbutrin for 2 weeks by then. That is how one doctor told me to quit, set a date, take the Wellbutrin for 2 weeks, quit smoking, but continue the Wellburtrin for a couple of months. It is supposed to help take the edge off and the 2 weeks is to let it build up.

What is really ironic is that the night before the heart attack, I had started the 2 week Wellbutrin program in order to quit.

Yep, I decided for me, that I didn't want to put any more chemicals in my body that would control or influence me.

I quit drinking, but it took prayer and faith to give up the smokes. God took that one away, and no I detest the smell.

Last on the list is coffee. I haven't had a cup since Saturday. I'm doing fine.

After the lifestyle change, it's a mind set change. I've heard people say "I havne't smoked in 17 years, but not a day goes by that I don't want one." I think that's sad. They're still slaves to the addiction.

Give em up Larry, you'll thank yourself later.

And I say, don't buy in to the whol "chew gum instead" crap. Just quit.
