Welcome aboard jarheadchir.
I am a member of River bend. There is a rule that you must wait six seconds between shots on the rifle ranges. I won't be taking may AR anytime soon. We meet at Charlie Elliot for group shoots. We usually meet for breakfast at Cracker Barrel before the shoot, and go to Hooters for lunch afterwards. Join us at the next group shoot. ARH |

We need to have a group shoot again soon... We've gone to 'Bama quite a bit recently, but nothing local and attended by many folks except for gun shows...

Welcome to the forum jarheadchir. This place is great. Being a newbie myself (just joined up last week), I have to say these guys are super, and the shoot in 'Bama rocks. Come out to the next shoot. It'll be fun. BTW, I also support going out to CE soon.

injun-ear, they are on the complete opposite side of town from you at the Charlie Elliot DNR range. It's out I-20 East past Conyers. Good thing is, there's a number of guys that cruise on over from your neck of the woods, so carpooling is an option. The shoots are always a lot of fun, even though I can't make a lot of them.
<edited to add: the next shoot is on the 23rd of this month. The normal plan is stop at the Cracker Barrel in Conyers for some grub at 8-8:30am, then drive out to the range and set up shop for the better part of the day.> |
