I will do my best to make an appearence. I have to drop off some stuff. Oh, speaking of stuff, I am about to post this in the Boomfest thread. I am happy to supply some empty film canisters to those that may need them(for Tannerite). I will bring them with me Sat. How many do I have? I will just say, enough.

Hey Byte, I'm going up to the mountains this weekend so I wont be able to meet up with you Saturday. Save me some of those film cannisters though, everytime I got to CVS, they only have 4 or 5 for me...they are getting to know me on a first name basis. We have another FOPfest on June 7th and maybe the TN shoot the 20th-22nd. I plan on blowin up lots of stuff then so get all you can of those film cannisters! gilfrd |

The secret is to go to Wolf Camera(type) stores. There is a big one downtown. They process LOTS of film.

Well, it looks like I'll be at C.E. Tomorrow (23rd) instead of Sat. due to the weather and other family matters. If anyone is off on Friday come down and shoot. I'll be the one set BEFORE 10:00 A.M. but please don't call the Ranger and tell on me ok.

I'm up for Sunday. I'm going to shoot at Wilson Shoals. Hey Bookhound, you still going up to WS this Sunday? It would be nice to meet you and do some shooting. I'm taking my AK also. Might even bring out the FN-FAL. Let me know if you're going and I'll meet you there.

Guys I can't make Sat, but I can be up at Wilson Shoals on Sun. What do you guys think Brunch in Gainesville at 10 then leave for Wilson Shoals at 11 up there by 11:30 for set up first shot at 12 noon sharp!

I would love to head out to CE tommorrow or monday but I've got get a CLEO signoff for my new "toy".
Anyone now why and the hell CE allows no NFA? I can understand there thinking on no machine guns but why no short rifles etc? Great place otherwise |

I live off I-985 and Friendship Road (which is 8 miles north of the I-85/I-985 split). WS is another 30 miles up 985. It's a LONG way from Atlanta.

Ive got two noobies I want to bring, ones my girl and the other is a friend for about 10 years now. Trying to figure what would be better, taking them to the woods or private land. Just wanna give em the best exp possible.

Bring them to CE Sat. Ask some of the members to bring a few different guns and let your friends try what they like. CE is a nice place to shoot, benches for non-shooters, bathroom(albeit stinky), simple. ByteTheBullet (-: |

It's down I-20 towards Conyers. Here are some directions from the DNR website: If driving from Atlanta, I-20 east to exit 98. Take a right and go down the road (south). You will go until you get to the town of Mansfield, GA. From the train tracks in the middle of town you will travel 2.7 miles, when you will come to a sign for Charlie Elliot WMA. Take a left, and the range is 1.4 miles down the road, on the left. The paved road will turn into a dirt road just before the range. There is a sign indicating where the range is, and you can see it from the road. The range is about 1 hour driving time from downtown Atlanta. ARH |
