I'm looking to do some fun off roading to a camping destination.  Hopefully you guys can point me in be right direction.

I don't want anything too serious (terrain wise) and prefer it to be on the western side of the state.

Anybody know of a spot that fits the bill?

Thanks!

The Uwharrie National Forest has a few trails, I don't know about the difficulty, as I've stuck to their hiking trails so far.

Take a look at the area around Wilson Creek. Lots of forest roads out there to play on, some that 4lo really helps on, but nothing technical. Lots of primitive camp sites around, and a few non-primitive sites too.

The entire outer banks. Definitely not the west though.
