Does anybody have any idea what they might try and impose???
It sounds to me like safety and management restrictions. They already have safety rules posted at Flintlock. Maybe it will have something to do enviormental safety? It could be more presence of range enforcement officers? Please let us know if you find out. I'm curious too.
Well, whatever it is, it was approved:
CHANGES IN HUNTING AND TRAPPING
REGULATIONS FOR 2006-2007 SEASONS
Effective July 1, 2006
The following changes have been approved:
12) Regulate the use of shooting ranges located on state-owned game lands.
15A NCAC 10D.0102: General Regulations Regarding Use
Uwharrie is fed land not state. But it still sux for people who use state owned gamelands
I was wondering about that, in my game lands map it shows Flintlock Range being on game lands.
Rumored they may start charging a day use fee just like they do for the ATV trials.
