My family will be visitng the Aiken area for the holiday weekend. I don't know much at all about it other then golf stuff. Any interesting wilderness or outdoor areas? Any night life?

I've been checking out the goaiken.com site and have found some good info. I'd still apprecaite any thoguhts from locals or those familiar with the area.

well, I should of seen this earlier.
I was there in aiken on sat for a fam reunion.

yea..it is a neat area and there are several clubs/ranges very close to town. including one with a national level pistol shooter. i'll definitely need to be spending more time there.
