Hi,

I need to know who is having CCW required Weapons training classes in the Saint Louis area? Thanks!

If you're in STL, I recommend John Ross's CCW class.

www.john-ross.net/missouri_ccw.htm

He's the author of "Unintended Consequences" and has been fighting for our gun rights for many years.

He's a great guy, and his class was very informative. Plus at $100, it's hard to beat. Me and several other AR15.com members took his first class, and we all had a great time.

Also, if you are willing to drive a bit more, CMMG is offering classes, and they are great guys who are also members here. Can't lose with either of these choices.

I second the John Ross recommendation. Damn good class from a guy who was one of the major players in getting the law passed. Also he is a heck of a lot cheaper than just about everyone else.

I met John Ross a few days ago at a Libetarian meeting, he got up and spoke. He's a good speaker I'd take a class from him. Hell I bought an AR15 from him.

You guys who took the class....did you tell him you were from AR15.com? Just wondering.

Ummm... I don't think it came up. Maybe Hkocher told him.
BTW, there were 4 AR15 members there at his first class, Me, Hkocher, Kudra18 and Holeshot4. Not a bad showing for a class of 20 folk.

Late breaking news, the Gateway Civil Liberties association is offering classes too, www.gclastl.org/
Don't know anything about the classes but I noticed it on their webpage and it wasn't listed before.
