Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Long range shooting near Fort Rucker

I just left Fort Bliss and the wide open desert.  Does anyone know of someplace to shoot long range near Fort Rucker?  300-2000 yards.

Rucker has a POW range that is 300 yards, quite nice, and easy to use.
There is a place in Ga that has ranges out to 1 mile but I recall it was almost a 2 hours drive from Rucker.  Don't recall the name and I never made it there.  

Chat up the locals and see if you can find a farmer who will let you pay a small fee to shoot/hunt on his land.
