I have used brass processed by Bullseye several times with very good results. In mid April I delivered 308 for processing and Curt figured about a two week turn around. On May 2 I got a note that it would be run that week. There has been no returned correspondence since then.
Is there anyone in the Terre Haute area that has any knowledge of anything happening there? Is the owner OK? Still doing business? Bob |
I'm from the area and have never heard of this business. Do you have an address or shop they are doing it out of?

I sent him 1k .223 brass earlier this year, was charged the $34 for the processing, but have not received any word from this guy.
There is a running thread at the Indiana Gun Owners forum about this. Per another possibly scammed member on INGO: So, according to public records.....In 2-29-16 a judgement was ordered against him for just over $3000 plus court costs that he was supposed to start paying on in 4-1-16 at a rate of $50.00 per month to International Village Apartment in Terre Haute. Not looking good... Looks like I'm out the $34, plus $15 to ship, plus $100 bucks worth of once fired brass. Should have put that money towards a high volume brass trimmer... |

Finally a reply;
"Hi bob, Was hospitalized and recovering which halted everything. I'm catching up over the next week or so and can process or ship brass back to you whichever you prefer. Curt " An illness or accident is forgivable in a small business. I wish him a full and fast recovery. |

Another two weeks has gone by with no replies to emails. Granted a couple of thousand 308 brass pieces will not break the bank, but it is mine and I want it back.
So he finally responded said he was getting them out then all this time later and he still hasn't sent them out?
I sent this guy 2000 pieces of Lake City .223 brass in April, never heard back until recently how he was in the hospital than haven't heard back from him since. Now I know he he gets his "brass for sale". What an awesome scam!!!
I sent 3k once fired brass 556 to be possessed paid $102.00 on 6-30-2016 no response to any emal
I think I have been scammed |
Enough complains to the authorities and they'll look into it.
He is still holding some of my brass with no replies to emails, phone calls, or text messages after another month.

There is a thread on Indiana Gun Owners that started out positive, but quickly went downhill-

Received a call from Curt today. He apologized for the delay, said he was catching up and would send my brass out tomorrow. We shall see.

Checking in to see if there are any updates on this guy? I have a bunch of brass to send off for processing, and want to make sure it's all good before doing so.
Even if people get their brass I don't know if I'd want to send brass to this guy and I'm in Terre Haute now
Still waiting on my processed brass to be reloaded for Knob Creek

View Quote I have talked to him a couple of times and he gives me a different story/excuse each time. He always apologizes and says he hopes the quality of the processing earns my future business. But I have no idea about the quality because he will not send it. I would throw the brass away before sending this guy anything. At least you would save the shipping. |

Have you guys started filling with the BBB? After that I'd look at consumer protection with the Indiana AG, I would't let this guy steal your brass without a fight.
His website is up but phone number no longer usable.

I'd try the BBB and see if they can help, and then see what the Indiana AG office will do for you

I took a ride over to Terre Haute today. His place has been vacated and a FOR LEASE sign in the window. The carpet had been all torn out of the place and the doors were blocked open airing it out. He had cats in there.
My brass, and everyone else's is gone. Website still up and his cell phone number is dead. |

Thank you for that information. I just got this message from the BBB. In short, they are useless

I called Ms Wells at the Indy BBB. Shared the updated address with her and she agreed to re-open the case.
Thanks for sharing the update. Bob |

That is the same address for M&S Armament. I believe Mario(owner) is a member here. I do not know how long he hasbeen associated with M&S but he does use some of their photos on his FB page.
Their contact info is on their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/MSArmament/ |

I spoke with the new owner today. He is trying to make things right and I should have brass back soon.
I had an excellent meeting with Mario today. Although he had nothing to do with the poor business practices of Bullseye, he is going above and beyond to sort things out and square up with prior customers. He runs MS Rifles and has particular interest in long range shooting. I'm probably going to take one of his classes this spring. I have my brass back and it is perfect.

Good to hear. Mario is good people and he has some good people associated to him.

Bumping this thread...............
because it saved me time and money. Already lost a LOT of brass and money to that Thief from "Brassprocessing.net" Read the reviews on this place and came across this thread. I'll go use Detroit Ammo again. Not cheap, but service and communication was excellent. Brass was great too. Thanks again ARFCOM....saved me time and money. |

I am working my way through another large batch of 308 brass processed by Mario Marietta. The brass is within spec, clean and consistent. The Bullseye Brass website is still active but it is being run by different management and as I understand, the customers are pleased with the service.
They are ramping up equipment for higher volume. |
It appears Mario has either gone out of business or has moved locations. The place his store use to be is shuttered and up for sale. Too bad. I liked the guy.
He has moved and built a new facility. Concentrating on the brass processing service. He still sells through the Bullseye website.
