Until you have fought every enemy, under any conditions, in any enviroment, with every weapon, you are not done training."

The member names Mercop is the guy to go to for all sorts of tactical and/or phyisical combative courses. He's also an ARFCOM member and can answer more of your questions.

Please take a look at his web site here: www.mercop.com

Here is a wee bit from his site:

"Modern Combatives Many in the tactical or martial arts community would say that the word combatives is too general a term. I think that it is not general enough. Whether, you are a professional soldier, street cop, or citizen Modern Combatives is and has always been for you. Just as when someone is looking for a performance chip for an automobile or a program for a computer, you first have to know what model or system it will be used with. Why do people fail to do this with fighting skills? What is it we are training to fight, another homosapian of course. I say homosapian and not human because some of the people that you may wind up facing in combat are not like you and I. I don't respect their parents; they don't work overtime to provide a Christmas for their kids. They don't cry when they see the American Flag draped across a Warrior's casket. They were never taught about God, Family and Mission. Lying and stealing are natural habits for survival that are scorned in a civilized society. But just like us, if you kick them in the knee it will snap, if you choke them they will pass out. Nobody trained them how to do this, nobody had to because it is natural. You have an excellent tool for training to fight your enemy, your own body. If it hurts or mechanically disables you there is a good chance it will do the same to them. Before you can learn to fight you have to understand the human body and the human response to stress. You need to recognize pre assault indicators. Street people and police alike can see an assault coming a mile away. Learn how."
