Totaly agree! I do like looking at the autos when at the fun shows, but I wish I could just own one

Although, we could be one of the states where you can "Collect" them just not carry, still ghey, but then you can have it at least, but I dont't think MN is.

I've been told that they are legal to possess as a collectible---just don't carry it around.

I seem to remember that we're one of those goofy collectible states. Or maybe it means that the knife is legal to have until it collects in someones pleural space.

A while back, the Roseville PD confiscated some 'brass paperweights' from me, no problem. They were in the trunk of my car.

I thought that we could collect switchblades (display behind glass), but not carry them.

I have bought a few autos from the MN fun shows. Paid CASH

But I think the same deal in WI, you can own a auto as a collector item so long as you do not carry it.

The whole switchblade/ Auto thing is a joke. I can open any Benchmade, Cold Steel, CRKT, Emerson, CUDA, Dalton, Kershaw, SOG, Blackjack, Boker, Beretta etc. etc. faster than any automatic knife.

Trust me, I have tested a good number of folders vs. autos.

ETA if autos are not allowed, I lost mine in a tragic boating accident

I am upset at myself, I lost my Benchmade yesterday and I am pissed just because I got so use to carrying it, now feel I am lost with out it

Guess I will just have to find a better one. Two years with the same knife is not all that bad

I've got a couple Benchmades with the AXIS lock. Just as quick as an auto to open, and closes easier. Totally one handed knife. A nice alternative to those of us who want an auto!
