After talking with a friend of mine, it sounds like the city is really screwing that department up.  He worked there for over a decade, was FTO and SWAT.  He said that some lesb**** would get put in charge and then promote their lesb*** friends.  According to him, the street officers kept that department running smoothly.  He was also bothered that they didn't hire from within.  Told me there's a lot of good candidates for the job, except for the two on the news of which one of them is a lesb, that would have done a good job.  Oh well, I guess that's what you get when you live in a Liberal State.
