Why does KY not have a Hometown forum shirt? Anybody know? I'd like to see Dan'l Boone and Simon Kenton carrying AR's on an outline of the state with "The Dark and Bloody Ground" underneath.
Michael Edited by Stump: UPDATE 5-15: Ok, we had a poll for the design of choice (in another thread) and we have a winner, #3 We also have a close second: Both of these designs are available right now in the AR15.com store, under the "Build Your Own Shirt" section. The logos are available in the drop down box choices. Here's the link to the "Build Your Own Shirt" area of the AR15.com Store: http://store.ar15.com/store/product.html?cat=1&prod=264 If you'd like to read more about the Build Your Own Shirts, our fearless leader, "Goatboy" has a continuing thread about this product here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=65&t=1127174 |

AR15.com does not have any "official" Hometown merchandise available.
IF, someone did want to pursue it, they would have to have written authorization from AR15.com to utilize the the AR15.com name, web address or any logos. Then, unless ar15.com decided to sanction it like a group buy situation, all money transactions and talk of money would have to be handled off site. These are just my quick understandings of the matter. If anyone was set on making this all happen and handle all the design, printing, monetary exchange and shipping, I would be happy to help in getting the information from site staff in what all would be possible. |

Stump,
I have seen tacked threads in other HTF's that mention officially sanctioned arfcom hometown t-shirts started by the same DEV staff member Spawn. Was this a one time offer we missed out on or is that just how they sit up on-site sales?? |

Looking through Spawn's posts, led me to an official Store thread on just this topic from Goatboy himself: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=65&t=1127174 Now, in that thread they show that they clearly do not have logos built for KY, or most states for that matter, YET. But he does say to contact them if our Hometown forum would like to get involved in a design. So, the question is, would we like to get involved? How many would like an official shirt? |

I was referring to this post from Goatboy:
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=65&t=1127174&page=1 Looks official to me. |

Whoops, started the above post before anyone else had put up that thread, and didn't send it sorry. I'd be in.

Hellz yes Stump. Im down for a couple. Now all we need is for a resident Kentuckian with more artistic ability than me to come up with a nice design. Side note, is anybody else down for a hooded sweatshirt option?? |

In for a few as long as I can get some 3XL's and i'll be happy to put up the money before the shirts run if thats needed.

I would be down for a shirt as long as we can get big sizes I second this. |
I'm in. I could working on a design. What are some idea's? Hoodie would be nice too.
I'll take a T Shirt or two, maybe a hoodie depending on price.
As far as design, I say bolt on front, rifle on back(SBR would be my preference)! |
I could be down for one assuming we can all agree on a good looking design?
I'm thinking the bolt face logo on the front left breast and a full logo on the rear that would be the KY state outline with some crossed M4's or something along those lines? |
I'm down for more than one as well - Also gonna be looking for the big and tall flavors. Also, could we make sure they don't end up with cheap base shirts? I hate buying a 3x and it shrinks to a L after one wash.
How about something like KY Sawgrass' avatar superimposed over a crossed M4 and AK? Then "ARFCOM KY HTF" arched over the top.

a crossed M4 and AK? Just my opinion but no AK's! The only gun(s) that should be displayed on this shirt should be some variant of the AR-15\M-16\M4. I know there is an AK section here and a lot of members have them and love them but this is AR15.com so having an AK on the shirt (or any other weapon) just seems wrong to me. |
Great concept.
I'm all for the M4/AK idea. It is, after all, the "Home of The Black Rifle". 2 cents and all that, of course. |
I'll buy no matter what the design. I do think the AK would not be suitable for AR15.com.
I will work on a design tonight and post it either tonight or tomorrow sometime.
I would be in for a few of those if they had Boone and Kenton on them.
My 3am drunken avatar is helping, hooray! But seriously, I like where this thread is going.
Interested, but also would need large size (3x, I'm a biggun!).
I would be down for a couple, probably in a Large. I like this last design or something simple like the bolt face over the state outline.

Id almost be down with more of a simple thing with a clean state outline and the BFL - Maybe something else small incorporated? I'm a fan of KISS-ish designs - There have been a number of states in there with more than one logo available, maybe one with the guns n such and one more simple?
I like the first one with the flag and bolt.
I could actually wear it. The others have to much going on for me. |

I have already way exceeded my photoshop ability so I'm done but I think I like this one the best... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/cgv69/KYHTFLogo3.jpg I am looking forward to seeing what others come up with? I am liking this one myself. |

Here are some that I came up with tonight. http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-DTOM-BFL-M4-1.jpg I like this one if you take the gun out and move the BFL to where the gun is currently. or the first one either of those a good. |
I really like the Boone and Kenton Dark and Bloody Ground idea mentioned earlier in this thread.
I can see it my mind but I have no idea how to create the image on a computer. |
I like http://www.kentuckycarry.org/ar15/AR15-KY-BFL.jpg
Possibly even without the flag. I like simple and subdued. Grey shirt, black state outline and BFL, something like that. |

I like this maybe with this small on the front left breast pocket area, and large on the back....would be cool in like OD green, black/white. This would be easier to print and cheaper since it's all single colors. It's got my vote!
