Then, on to my build http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/2828/img4171.jpg How do you activate your front sight? Seems like the light is in the way. Even shooting left handed, the QD latch seems to be in the way too |

The EOTech mount and light mount are both LaRue; the Light is actually offset to the top left of the rail. Flipping up the front sight is not difficult, but isn't ninja-fast......then again, I'm not a ninja, and figure if my BACKUP iron sights need deploying in any reasonable scenario for a civilian to be in, they'll either be deployed prior to rifle use, or I'll be close enough to cover that it'll be doable (which is a reasonable presumption given the outlay of town near me). |

cgcg97: any comments, reflections on the MKS 22. I've been looking at one in Elizabethtown. Good, bad or indifferent?
|

Dredd223
It is a good gun, not better than my GSG-5 though. I haven't had many jams with it at all but the accuracy of the iron sights was bad bad. Scope is a must. I do love the threaded .22 adapter that Keenes Depot makes for it! |

Nice.
I've got a SS YHM Phantom .308 cal. can that will fit that muzzlebrake if you want to give it a try. |

A friend of mine also has the same and I'm sure he's getting tired me me asking "Can I test this with your can???" It does suppress nicely actually. My 10.5" 762x39 SBR, Grendel, 12" 6.8, and 7.5" 22 have all been tested with that silencer and it has been a nice piece to work with. I will be purchasing the YHM 762 Ti sometime in the future as it is a 15oz can vs 28 for the SS. Having the opportunity to handle it on my SBR made the gun feel nearly the same with or without it, but I didn't shoot it that day. Just have to get $1200 put away for it. |

Hey cgcg97, hav eyou found any extra mags for ISSC MK22, I am trying to find some and I am not having any luck? I just wondered if you have seen any around or know of a place to order them from? thanks Rob

anvilforged; Check w/ Keene's Depot in Bardstown. They've run at least two specials on that rifle and should have on site or a resource. Also, check Black Dog magazines in the Industry section here.

I never even considered picking up one of those hunting configuration M400 rifles from Wal-Mart until I saw your picture. I went out and got one today along with a scope and Magpul PRS for it. I am still trying to decide on a free float handguard. I didn't realize how heavy profiled the barrel was on these. Also threw on a Harris Bi-pod I had laying around. ETA pic |

Yes. the M400 hunter comes with a 1/8twist, heavy 20" chrome lined barrel. I had it threaded to 1/2x28 by local gunsmith and fellow ARFCOM member "GunCat".

SSRACER, So what's the deal with your forward grip? Is that a Magpul AFG cut down and a Magpul RVG added next to the end? If that is it's cool. More info on how to do that please. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6162/6179625845_7f9af63169_b.jpg I'd like to know this as well. |
