How is that EOtech working out so far? With all the hate and the issues with them lately, its hard to find an honest opinion. Thanks.

Some guys do prefer them, however I am squarely in the Aimpoint/Vortex crowd.

EOTechs are in general a quality piece. The shit storm that came down was because they lied about some of the testing they performed that showed a fault in the zero of the optic when rapidly and repeatedly exposed to below freezing temparatures and then back to something in the moderate zone (ie getting out of a truck to engage bad guys, then back in the truck with the heat on). I have used them for over a decade. My only gripe has been the fricking battery springs popping out when changing batteries, and the 553's burned through batteries at times. At this point I do use and prefer a one-dot optic such as the T1 a bit more, but wouldn't hesitate to use an EOtech if it's what was available. The big old 65MOA ring around the dot can be very useful for quite a few shooting scenarios, just not my preference. My .02.

Almost complete Anderson rifle outside of the 10.75" URX2 that was milled by Christian of Snipe Custom Arms.

I painted it today and this is just a mock-up for ensuring that the additional thickness of paint doesn't mess up anything

Anderson CH, receivers, LPK, and barrel.

AIM Nitride BCG and LMT M4 stock

KAC 300m rear sight

YHM 5.56 QD brake
