No rules at the State level but there may be some local ordinances. Our town prohibits firing within city limits, unless its to protect life or property, without a permit from the Police Chief.

Can't discharge a firearm in Louisville Metro unless it's warranted.

as long as you dont live around anyone, you can on your own property, but if you live within city limits, you cannnot. |

That is only if there is an ordinance in place. If there isn't an ordinance then its up to the shooter's good judgement. |
