Is it still legal to ship the following pre ban Colt rifles in to Connecticut? Both were manufactured before September 1994.

Colt Pre-Ban Competition HBAR Model R6700CH

Colt Pre-Ban Match HBAR Model R6601

That's why I asked. Someone in CT expressed interest in my pre ban Colts.

The rumor mill has a ruling coming down on Tuesday and going into effect Sept 1. The rumor is that only the pre-bans not named in the old and new laws will be transferable. Both those Colts, I believe, are not on the list.

If this ruling comes down the pre ban market will collapse since there will be no states where these have value beyond any potential collectible status.

I did hear from a good source that the ruling is coming Tuesday with a Sept 1 enforcement date.
