13+ months, one redo, and 1 last chance to fix it, came Monday.

Vietnam era 607 clone with a extra .300 B/O upper.

suppress it, put my slanty hat on, camo my face, eat some snakes and go varmint cong hunting.

but really, what else shines at 10" (no pistol crap)?
Not a Grendel, or a SPC, my .458 Socom would, but the stock can't handle it, or a Beowulf either.
a subsonic suppressed .300 will be just right.
it's pistol length gas with a carbine length FSB.

It's definitely a man stopper at short range in that configuration, so home defense duty? Or another perfectly acceptable answer is "cause I think it's cool and I wanted it". LOL. That's my personal favorite excuse for the several of the guns I own. It's about what you want just as much as it's about what you need. I think it's awesome in either configuration. When do I get to shoot it??
