Please help ID these cars for me
First photo is my Grandpa, photo appears to be from the 40's Grandpa liked his cars, he usually had nice ones, the fender is fairly distinctive, but I don't recognize it 
This next one is my Aunt, my Mother's Sister, photo also appears to be from the 1940's

I have no clue. Long before my time. Bottom might be a Ford. Maybe early Cadillac on top.
Here's a Plymouth with close to the same doors. 
As the bottom pic. Hubcaps are different. |

I think you nailed it on the bottom car, it appears to be identical except for the hubcaps, might be a different year so different hubcaps.
ETA: I just noticed one other difference, on the car belonging to my Aunt and Uncle, the wipers are attached under the windshield, on the other photo they are attached at the top, almost everything else is identical, so again just a year or so different, or one might be a Plymouth and the other a Dodge, I don't know how similar they were at that time, in some of the more recent years they were almost identical. |

Based on the front fender of the first car I gonna say about a 39-41 Chevy.

The photos I find are all over the place, a 42 Chevy with a roofline like that the front fender is longer, ones with a shorter front fender the roofline is all wrong, but a 42 Chevy is close.

Did you notice the spotlight on the caddy?
Car's were pieces of art back in the day. It would cost 3 fortunes to build them car's today. I'm betting a plain Jan 1940 cadillac. With the gas card's issue 42 and later. Is why the 42 chevy's looked more like caddy's. Uncle Bill had a 41 chevy roadster when I was a kid. I don't know which one of his kid's got it. |

When my Mother and her Sisters were growing up during the depression, my Grandfather, the one shown above, had a 1929 Auburn Touring Car, a few years ago I pointed the bike towards Auburn Indiana to visit the Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg Museum there. Here's a side by side comparison of my Grandfather's 1929 and a 1931 Auburn Touring Car. As mentioned above, my Grandpa liked his cars! I found out these cars had a Continental straight 8 engine, same company that made the engine in the Cessna I flew for the county.

WM I like the heavy duty bumper on your grandpappy's car. Just goes to show you that even the car's were tough enough to pull out with a chain back in the day.

Here's a 1928 on the left, compared to his 29 on the right. The front bumper is the same, the windshield is the same, kind of a strange 2 piece set up, on the 31 model it was changed to a flat plate, much simpler. The wheels on the 28 were wood spoke and the 29 got wire wheels. Very classy cars overall.
