I have no clue. Long before my time. Bottom might be a Ford. Maybe early Cadillac on top.
Here's a Plymouth with close to the same doors.
As the bottom pic. Hubcaps are different.

Based on the front fender of the first car I gonna say about a 39-41 Chevy.

I think you nailed it on the bottom car, it appears to be identical except for the hubcaps, might be a different year so different hubcaps.

ETA:  I just noticed one other difference, on the car belonging to my Aunt and Uncle, the wipers are attached under the windshield, on the other photo they are attached at the top, almost everything else is identical, so again just a year or so different, or one might be a Plymouth and the other a Dodge, I don't know how similar they were at that time, in some of the more recent years they were almost identical.

Manual windshield wipers were on top and automatic on bottom. That was an option back in the day.
There's a Cadillac coup Deville.

Did you notice the spotlight on the caddy?

Car's were pieces of art back in the day. It would cost 3 fortunes to build them car's today. I'm betting a plain Jan 1940 cadillac. With the gas card's issue 42 and later. Is why the 42 chevy's looked more like caddy's. Uncle Bill had a 41 chevy roadster when I was a kid. I don't know which one of his kid's got it.

WM I like the heavy duty bumper on your grandpappy's car. Just goes to show you that even the car's were tough enough to pull out with a chain back in the day.
