I'm about to purchase a McMillan and I would like to know just where I could shoot it at other than Quantico?  I live in Fredericksburg btw.

Thanks

I shoot my 50 at Hite Hollow.  150 yards in all...    Other then that if you know someone with private land.

I shoot on private land.  That is your best bet for any decent distance.

Yeah I figured the private sector would be my only recourse.  Thanks for the info guys.

Would like to get one one day and go up to the mountains of west virgina. Sit up a target or something over on another mountain and go for it.

A&P Pungo range has a few 200 yard lanes.  It's a long way from Fredericksburg, of course.  Maybe you can find your way there during a trip to the beach.

BTW, I just posted a BMG price list thread in the 50 cal forum;  It's tacked.

I just noticed there is a new sign at the Conservation Park in Charles City that 50 BMG is no longer allowed.  I shot my Ferret 50 out there once, before I got rid of it.

I've got a 125 acre lot at home... it's gotta be 1000 yards from one end to the other because it's shaped weird.  I'm in Bath County.

I've also got a neighbor (who is a mile away) who has a ton of land... hmm...

there has to be some place to go bang at long range in this great state. Quantico has weird days when you can shoot anything let alone the BMG.
