I have a few friends that are members there its a nice place. They have trap, skeet, and a 5 stand. A couple of rifle ranges. Longest one I think is 200 yards along with a pistol range and a bunch of other amenities. Did you have specific questions about FR&G?

I have been thinking about becoming a member but don't feel that there is any value add for my $3000 besides a 15min commute to the range. I am currently a member of a range that is about 1hr 15min drive away but also has 200yd ranges. I am into precision rifle shooting but not shotgunning. I just wanted to see if anyone had strong feelings if the membership is worth the cost.

I enquired about a membership some time ago while taking the CMP course. The guy just laughed at me, but only because it's near impossible to get in due to the extremly long waiting list. Kinda like getting season Redskins tickets.

You also have to be "sponsored" by an active member for a period of time prior to membership.
