Can you give me any better info as to the place of the E Peoria show? I know where the expo gardens is at, and can halfway get my way around Peoria. I know the main landmarks fairly well. I will be coming from the south,

Traveling on I-74 Westbound
(from Morton, Bloomington, Decatur)

1:  Take the IL-8/ EAST WASHINGTON STREET exit- exit number 96 of I-74.  0.32 miles

2:  Take the ramp toward EAST PEORIA. 0.02 miles

3:  Merge onto E WASHINGTON ST/ IL-8.

4:  It is 3.56 miles to the East Peoria Expo & Convention Center. It will be on your right.

Traveling on I-74 Eastbound
(from Peoria, Galesburg)

1:  Take the E CAMP ST exit number 95C toward US-150 E.  0.39 miles  

2:  E CAMP ST becomes E WASHINGTON ST/ IL-8.
 
3:  It is 3.56 miles to the East Peoria Expo & Convention Center. It will be on your right.

For those who know the area, it is at the site of the former Carter Lumber Yard.

I'll probabably show up on Sunday Nov. 2nd. for a little while.

Now that the sun goes down before I leave work, the chores have to wait for the weekend.

I'll probably go on Saturday, if I get done pheasant hunting (OPENING DAY!!!) soon enough.

I went to the Peoria gun show yesterday (Saturday) and didn't leave with a damn thing. This one was a waste of time for me, except that I had to renew my range membership. Hopefully, next year will be better.

I got a box of bullets (components) on the cheap!

Winchester/Nosler CT Ballistic Silvertip 22 cal 55 grain for $13.00/100!

The guy saw me looking at them and said he had those on his shelf for 3 years and practically gave them away.

I also got 15' of cannon fuse!  

I saw no cannon fuse! I got some stripper clips, and a couple of mags from the magman.

Went to Gander Mountain afterwards, spent some money there too.

Bloomington is tomorrow. Last year at this time, it was a decent show. Anyone else going?

Guess no one else went? It was a decent show. I missed an m1 carbine by 30 seconds. Guy was aiming it at the wall, when I noticed it. I walked over, and he had bought it. There were a couple of other ones there, but they were high. I got some new straps for my pack, and a couple of cleaning brushes. Overall it was a decent show. There is one on Springfield coming up in a couple of weeks, it is usually pretty good.
