My friend is a heli-nurse in N. NV, and they are closing tons of bases right now because there is no utilization.

My wife works at a hospital in Vegas and furloughs are happening now because of lack of occupancy and procedures.

My friend says a big cause is people no longer abusing the system using them as a taxi to free treatment for minor medical issues and free fun drugs. Risk of catching Kung Flu scares them away. |

Weird, it's almost like the socialism of being forced to provide a service without compensation has lead to abuse of the system. I wonder if that's related to the ridiculous cost listed for medical services for those who do pay?
