Yeah the Chattanooga TN 911 folks have been getting the media shaft over and over again on the boob toob.  Seems they missed (re: unanswered) approximately 27,000 calls in 2005.  They had the police chief on trying to explain that (taking breaks, low staff, etc.).

Happened to me once in Cali too.  So much for relying on the system to protect you.  I'm just glad Chef wasn't  trying to break into my house to make sweet love to my asshole.
